A sleek and pristine car says a lot about its driver. So does one covered in swirls and scratches, mud and dirt.
If you'd rather see yourself in the former category but just don't have the time for all the pampering and fuss, the faffing about with wax and polish, or even just washing by hand every now and then, well, at last there's some good news.

The thing is, at G|techniq we really do love our cars. So much so, we call it criminal neglect if cars don't always look their very best. A single scratch in the paint, or a mite of brake dust on the alloys and we're deeply, deeply unhappy.
But just like you, we're also really busy people who could do without all the washing, polish and wax required for non-stop perfection.
So we decided to apply the very best surface science to help maintain our obsession and ease our workload.
Well. What we actually did was lock our very best surface scientists in the lab until they'd satisfied our demands. They got a bit smelly, but the results were fantastic.
The Perfect Polish
First up, we created a polish for perfect swirl free paint. It's called P1 and it's a polish that anyone can use, even a first timer, to get unbelievable results like a pro.
You can use it to safely remove really deep scratches, or quickly make over whole, worn out cars into like-new condition.
It's hard on scratches but really kind to paint. Incredibly for a polish this powerful, P1 can be used without any fear of stripping the paint right off the bodywork, unlike conventional compound polishes where caution and experience are crucial unless going for the bare metal look.
That's because P1 is virtually non-abrasive. It gets its scratch removal and gloss / colour restoring powers from the nano scale cutting particles safely locked inside.
These really tiny, engineered structures work directly on the surface imperfections in paint, blending them into, but crucially without removing, the good paint around and beneath.
You can think of it a bit like a super smart laser guided missile, with zero collateral damage. Or, like an incredibly efficient polish that never does any more than necessary to get the job done. Which is exactly what it is.
The wax works
Next we turned our attention to the role of wax, the traditional way to protect highly polished surfaces.
The very best waxes, which can be either natural (eg carnauba) or synthetic (polymer coatings) work by adding a sacrificial surface layer to protect the usually delicate and costly surface beneath. Sometimes, but often not, they also add a little bit of extra shine.
But what all waxes and synthetic coatings have in common is how much effort and time they require to apply, and how quickly their benefits wear off.
So we thought it would be great to have a product at least as effective as the very best waxes, but without any of the effort.
And at the other extreme an additional product that way outperforms and outlasts all the competition but as easy to use as possible. Being no more difficult as wiping on, for example.
So that's precisely what we did, and you can buy all of these products today.
