The world's premiere auction house for the sale of historic automobiles, RM Auctions has once again chosen G|techniq to provide exclusive detailing and presentation services for Automobiles of London, held recently in Batersea Park.
The annual sale of historic cars, now in its third year continues to set the benchmark.
Star attraction for 2009 was an historic 1950 Aston Martin DB2 Team Car ‘VMF 64’ with Le Mans and Mille Miglia provenance, on the market for the first time in 52 years. Selling for £550,000 it set the new world record for an Aston Martin DB2 at auction.
G|techniq has provided exclusive auto presentation services for RM Auctions' european events since 2008.
Recent sales include the historic Ferrari event at Maranello, with the record breaking £8M sale of a Ferrari 250 "Pontoon" TR, officially the world's most expensive car sold at auction.
